Last week an interesting title caught my eye in the TV Guide -Documentary Channel's "You Only Live Twice".

The film is about Second Life computer game created by Linden Lab. I was curiuos enough to find out more about it and now I am, too, one of the residents of Second Life. My virtual alter ego in Second Life is called Adrija Parx.

I am sill stuck on the orientation island learning the ropes - how to move about, how to fly, how to create objects. It is not easy for a newbie, I must admit. I already crashed one virtual car, almost drowned in a virtual water, and flew into a tree. On a positive note, I picked up some free stuff at a virtual freebie store, enjoyed virtual art gallery, and learned how to make a virtual cube.

Does any of you play Second Life? What are your experiences? What advice could you give to a new resident of Second Life? It would be fun if more of us can play it together and share our thoughts about the game in this forum.
