What can be better on a hot, humid summer day than a frosty glass of cold beer. Especially if that beer is brewed in Fort Collins, Colorado!

We, the lucky residents of Fort Collins, live in the Beer Capital of America, if not the entire world. Besides Anheuser-Bush brewery, maker of Budweiser, the King of Beers, Fort Collins is home to numerous craft breweries that produce  a wide wariety of beers sure to please even the pickiest beer connoisseurs. Best part of all -  most of the breweries are giving away generous samples and free brewery tours almost daily.

My favorite one is the New Belgium Brewery, located on 500 Linden street in Fort Collins. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit their fun, interactive web site for more information:

Another great one is the Odell Brewing Co., located 800 E. Lincoln Ave. in Fort Collins. Make sure to try a cold glass of the Easy Street Wheat beer. Here is the link to their web site:

Keep going East on Lincoln avenue to The Fort Collins Brewery, located

1900 E. Lincoln Ave. Although you have to pay a few dollars for a round of tasters it is well worth the price. Try their Chocolate Stout for a completely unique taste experience. Follow this link to find out more:

Last, but not least, if you are still standing and have a designated driver, head for the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, located 2351 Bush Dr., Fort Collins. To make things easier for you, it is off I-25 West exit 271, on Mountain Vista Drive.  Link to the tour home page:
